Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00p - 9:30p
Job Summary: Performs full range of General Radiology procedures including but not limited to: Portables, fluoroscopy, operating room, trauma, contrast studies and DEXA bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment. Responsible for operating a variety of x-ray equipment in both a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting. Responsible for confirming order/correct patient/correct exam and entering exam in Meditech. Must obtain quality image including both technical and positional factors. Responsible for maintaining exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable. Responsible for confirming patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing/QA and releasing image and assuring all "Stat" procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately. Adapts to schedule changes including call shifts and call back for procedures/holidays. Follows policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to WFH standards of behavior.

Education:
Graduate of ARRT Accredited Program and current ARRT registry required
Florida Certification is required.
Experience:
Clinical experience acquired in a Radiologic Technology Program is required
A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years’ experience as a registered technologist is preferred.
License / Certification:
Current ARRT registry required, Florida Certification is required.
