We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the nations largest provider of healthcare services as a Centrile Sterile Technician.
As a Central Sterile Technician at our facility you will play a vital role in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings. Our team works together like a family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:
·You will assemble all necessary equipment and supplies to meet patient and surgeon needs.
·You will print appropriate doctors’ preference lists, assemble case carts and fill requisitions for the OR.
·You will follow established policies and procedures to identify and reduce the risks of acquiring or transmitting infection.
·You will follow through on problems that may compromise effective job performance by using appropriate chain of command.
·You will be knowledgeable to perform all functions and operations pertaining to the sterilizers. Responsible for operating sterilizers, aerators and their monitoring cleaning.
Qualifications:
·Successful completion of a program for operating room preferred but not required.
·CRCST certification required within 1 year of hire date.
·Familiarity with and knowledge of medical supplies is highly preferred.
- Prior experience is not required, but is preferred.
