Job Summary and Qualifications
The TriStar Clinical Dietitians Manager, will be an experienced and competent dietetic professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher who is responsible for the assessment, development, implementation, facilitation, and evaluation of the clinical nutrition program. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.
What you will do in this role:
- You will utilize and develop nutrition screening tools to appropriately identify patients at nutrition risk.
- Your role utilizes the Nutrition Care Process for the assessment, diagnosis, intervention development and monitoring and evaluation of patients.
- You will initiate and develop nutrition assessment and nutrition care plans utilizing extensive knowledge and expertise in the Nutrition Care Process for patients with complex medical conditions, including critically ill patients and those on enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support.
- Your role provides nutrition counseling for inpatients and outpatients as indicated and develops nutrition educational tools for clinical nutrition.
- You will adhere to nutrition care guidelines/manual to provide evidenced based nutrition care.
- You role develops nutrition related department/facility guidelines and protocols to provide evidenced based care.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Master’s Degree Preferred
- Registered Dietitian Required
- Licensed Dietitian within the state Required /must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- Certification in Nutrition specialty Preferred
- Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)
Parkridge Medical Center is a 270 bed hospital. We are near downtown Chattanooga. We feature comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. These services include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. These services include intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. The facility includes a state of the art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB-GYN services. Patients have access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They also have access to (NICU) and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.
