Job Summary and Qualifications
The Communications and Creative Services Specialist will support the Parallon Marketing and Communications department by generating high-quality content, both written and visual. This individual will contribute to multiple design and communication projects, focusing on creating consistent and effective deliverables to support colleague engagement and Parallon culture, brand awareness and operational project support as needed. Hybrid in-office for a minimum of two days a week is preferred.
What you will do in this role:
- Create and develop marketing and communication materials through planning, research, writing, editing, graphic design, and/or distribution of various media, including but not limited to newsletters, brochures, flyers, blog posts, video scripts, FAQs, website copy, social posts, surveys, and reports
- Work individually or alongside other team members to produce custom graphics, designs, and /or copy layouts for print and digital content
- Serve as a Parallon brand ambassador, ensuring all visual and written assets reflect the brand appropriately
- Develop strong relationships and collaborate with business owners / internal Parallon departments and across HCA Healthcare Marketing and Communications teams as applicable to create content and produce deliverables
- Maintain and refresh intranet content for Parallon audiences, both corporate and enterprise
- Assist and participate in the management, coordination and execution of internal communications projects and meetings, including the Parallon annual report project cycle
- Track and follow up on deliverables from contributors at multiple levels of the organization
- Excellent writing and strong understanding of AP style
- Graphic design skills and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign required
- Ability to work independently and as part of team to take ownership of assigned projects and/or tasks through completion
- Works well managing the content creation process under pressure and can negotiate multiple and often overlapping or competing deadlines
- Strong time management and concurrent project coordination skills, and is decisive, proactive and highly responsive
- Ability to build relationships with business owners across the organization to proactively plan and create operational communications
- Thorough knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Excel required
- Basic video editing skills in Camtasia and / or Adobe Premiere required
- WordPress and HubSpot experience a plus
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; a focus in Communications, Marketing, Design, Journalism, English or related field is preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, design, content development, or related field is preferred, including internships
