Job Summary and Qualifications

The Consulting EHR Support Analyst Pharmacy serves as the primary clinical pharmacy IT&S resource for the development, implementation, and support of advanced clinical applications and complex Cerner tools across the enterprise. This position supports community growth within the enterprise by establishing and growing strong relationships with all EHR Support roles and core team members, and ensuring advanced clinical applications are well supported throughout the enterprise.

 Execute:

· 

Implement and support enterprise-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to advanced clinical applications and tools in their specialty area(s)

· 

Develop, execute, and support enterprise-wide tools and resources focused on clinical initiatives

· 

Facilitate and lead enterprise-wide implementations of enterprise applications

· 

Implement best practices related to their specialty area(s) and Cerner applications

· 

Coordinates testing for advanced clinical applications within their specialty area(s); assists in interpretation of test plans and in troubleshooting.

· 

Works with appropriate parties to design and develop education and training materials in clinical application specialty area(s)

· 

Actively supports and promotes systems standardization, utilization, and best practices.

Support:

· 

Provides user support and system maintenance for advance clinical operations across the enterprise

· 

Resolve complex issues and requests escalated from the Service Desk or other service resources for advanced clinical applications within their specialty area(s)

· 

Works with enterprise subject matter experts and services resources and the enterprise Service Desk in managing resolution of clinical application incidents and requests.

· 

Manage validation of system upgrades impact on advanced applications

· 

Implement software releases

· 

Ensure advanced clinical applications (esp. Cerner) are well supported throughout the enterprise

Develop:

· 

Participate in company-wide community in their specialty area(s)

· 

Support community growth within the enterprise by establishing and growing strong relationships with HER support roles and core team members

Education & Experience:

·Bachelors degree

Required

·Doctorates degree

Preferred

·3 years of experience in Pharmacy Informatics

Preferred

Licenses, Certifications & Training:

·Pharmacist
