The ASD Director of Analytics/Education and Training is responsible for designing, developing and analyzing supply chain data as it applies to clinical and operational initiatives, utilizing business intelligence applications and data analytics. This position will support the Ambulatory Surgery Division Supply Chain Team by understanding the objectives and data information needs; and will translate this information into a format that will improve clinical and operational decision making processes. Position is also responsible for efficient and effective design, development and delivery of education initiatives implemented by the Ambulatory Surgery Division. This individual is a member of a cross functional team, which includes Business Owners, Project Management, IT&S, and others as needed. This individual will work closely with various groups to develop and implement education requirements and change strategies that are needed to achieve the desired results. As a highly visible department representative, this individual must consistently demonstrate a strong service commitment by continually striving to meet and exceed customer expectations

What you will do in this role:

  • Develop methodologies to perform financial analysis and interpretation of supply chain purchase history data to identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Benchmark cost and clinical data through applicable business tool applications.
  • Perform ongoing analytics, tracking and analysis for supply chain initiatives.
  • Develops an in-depth knowledge and understanding of appropriate applications such as Business Objects, Tableau, and Power BI to identify clinical and cost variation.
  • Identify, manage and monitor completion of deliverables, with a high degree of accuracy, throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Perform centralized division analysis and tracking of data to include contract compliance, maximizing tier commitments and documenting savings.
  • Complete analytics for product conversions, product standardizations and warehouse item adds. 
  • Develop presentation content for monthly operating reports and value analysis meetings
  • Facilitate the organization of project activities into manageable work efforts.
  • Utilize a process improvement approach to develop, enhance, and share solutions to improve data analytics.
  • Provide support to the team with additional analytics and maintenance as requested.
  • Coordinate the installation/training of Supply Chain/ASD systems (SMART, VIRA, GHX, etc.) for new go-live and current surgery centers.
  • Develop educational strategies for both competency-based and operational-based education initiatives
  • Deliver and support training initiatives for various groups, including leadership teams and end-users. Delivery methods may include instructor-led, train-the-trainer, virtual classroom, web-cast, or web-based methodologies

 

 

Qualifications

What experience and education is needed for this role:quired for new hires as of 6/01/2018:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent - (Required for new hires as of 6/1/2018)
  • 3-5 yearsexperience managing multiple projects to successful completion that required financial modeling and analysis - Required.
  • Experience is preferred in healthcare financial services, clinical operations, supply chain, or information systems oriented environment. - Preferred.
  • Previous experience working in informaiton technology product support or projduct development - Preferred.R
