Job Summary and Qualifications
The Medical Staff Quality Analyst organizes, oversees, and performs support functions for Medical Staff Professional Practice Evaluation (PPE) for all the LHS Medical Staffs. A critical requirement of this position is to the ability to maintain confidentiality and to assure strict adherence to the tenets of medical staff PPE.
Position Requirements:
Education/Licensure: Must have a current RN license in the state of practice or multistate RN license.
Certifications: CPCS or CPMSM preferred.
Experience: Experience with electronic medical records. Proficiency in concepts of Medical Staff Practice Evaluation/Peer Review, diagnosis and coding systems preferred. Strong background in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and disease process preferred. Experience with first hand interaction with physicians and advanced practice providers is desirable.
