Job Summary and Qualifications
What you will do in this role
· You will coordinate and monitor patient care and progression through the Care Continuum.
· You serve as a single point of contact for referring physicians, patients and caregivers to ensure access to clinical and support care services.
· You assist patients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment options, and the resources available, including educating eligible patients about appropriate clinical research studies and technologies.
· You develop patient education programs and tools, providing appropriate teaching, outreach, and education to patients and families.
Requirements:
· Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related health care field; or degree in progress.
· Minimum of one year clinical specialty area experience required.
· Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
· Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
