We are seeking a Supervisor PBX Operator to join our team who will foster an environment of teamwork, quality and ensure to provide customer service to our patients by providing information and directions to specific areas in the hospital.

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• Under the general supervision of the Executive Office Manager, the PBX Supervisor is responsible for assisting with oversight of the PBX Operators.
• Maintaining day to day operations of the Communications Department.
• Also monitors the telephone console and processes incoming and in-house calls in a quick and professional manner.
• Assists patients and visitors with information and directions to specific areas in the hospital; responds quickly and effectively to all emergency codes using proper hospital procedures, and maintains a professional level of work performance and image for the hospital.

What qualifications you will need:

• High school or equivalent; college degree highly preferred
• 1 year PBX experience, multi-line telephone experience and paging experience preferred.
• Previous clerical experience in hospital or commercial enterprise preferred. One year.
•  PBX experience required.
•  Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, outlook, E-mail, and database software.
•  Great speaking voice with excellence communication skills are vital.
