Description
JOB SUMMARY: Develop and maintain an outpatient integrated behavioral health practice within assigned ambulatory medical clinics of Mission Health. Conduct clinical evaluations which produce diagnostic findings in order to identify appropriate treatment plans. Implement behavioral treatment plans through the provision of quality, evidence based behavioral therapy services to patients served by Mission Health. Operate within a fully integrated model of health care delivery by collaborating and coordinating with physicians, and all levels of clinical staff through a shared medical record in order to promote a healthy population. Work with Care Management, and directly with community resources, to facilitate outside referrals as needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Social Work or Doctorate in Psychology.
REQUIRED LICENSE: North Carolina clinical license with the ability to bill Medicare.
PREFERRED LICENSE: Current LCSW in North Carolina.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Full licensure with a minimum of three years postgraduate experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Five years postgraduate experience with two years of experience providing behavioral interventions in a medical setting. Familiarity with outpatient billing/coding procedures, Federal Medicare guidelines, NC Medicaid guidelines, local MH/SA/IDD resources. Depending on practice location- experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. Spanish speaking is a plus.
