Job Summary and Qualifications

RN FT Medical ICU Nights 7p-7a Rotating Weekends

Our Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way. Our 16-bed Medical ICU team delivers professional nursing care to a diverse patient population with multiple comorbidities. The typical patient in the MICU consists respiratory, renal or cardiac failure, MI, sepsis and essentially any critically ill patient short of a post op CABG or transplant patient as well as those on prone therapy. The average length of stay is typically longer reducing the patient turnover ratio in this unit. The acuity of this MICU ranks in the top of our other ICUs in regard to hemodynamic in stability. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse Texas State license or Compact State license required.
• 1yrs Medical ICU experience or Critical Care ICU acute nursing experience
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
