Job Summary:
The Security Operations Center (SOC) Technician serves in a 24/7 centralized security operations
Center for select HCA facilities. The SOC monitors all physical security systems and coordinates the
actions of needed response groups in the event of an emergency within monitored properties. This
position provides technical support for all operating systems at monitored properties. Systems include:
Vidsys, P2000, EasyLobby, VSOM, PSIM, and Cisco camera systems.
General Responsibilities:
- Work alone or with minimal supervision
- Troubleshoot and maintain all systems and equipment use by the SOC
- Understand, maintain, and track associated security systems.
- Possess detailed knowledge of corporate security policies and procedures.
- Assist in process and response improvement.
- Willingness to deal directly with customers to provide solutions for immediate and long term projects
- Understand and implement the technical details of all associated security systems.
- Assist with the development of new security policies for evolving technologies.
- Assist with analytics deployment and drive process and response improvement.
Education, Experience and Certifications:
- High School Graduate – Required
- Technical Training – Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite – Required
Other Required Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of security, audio video, and integrated computer systems.
- Computer and networking proficiency required.
- Experience in management, operations, and maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of emergency management procedures and policies.
- Computer and MS Office proficiency required.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and organizational skills
- Demonstrated communication, team working, and interpersonal skills.
