Job Summary and Qualifications

The Senior Communications Specialist will support the Parallon Marketing and Communications department, and specifically the communications program through the creation and deployment of communication deliverables for the enterprise and in support of business operations, maintenance of communication and engagement reporting, and assistance with strategy development and execution per project / deliverable. Experience in graphic design and video editing is a plus. Hybrid in-office for a minimum of two days a week is preferred. This position requires a high-level of professional, customer service and communication skills with regular executive interaction and visibility.

What you will do in this role:

• Develop content across a broad range of assets that could include presentations, videos, info-graphics, blogs, newsletters, website copy, executive talking points, and longer form communications (i.e., annual report)
• Serve as a Parallon brand ambassador, ensuring all visual and written assets reflect the brand appropriately
• Directly contribute to key Parallon CEO communications in terms of message development, talking points, outline and enterprise engagement through forums such as the monthly CEO video
• Develop strong relationships and collaborate with business owners / internal Parallon departments and across HCA Healthcare Marketing and Communications teams as applicable to create content
• Build and distribute the corporate newsletter using Staffbase, proactively planning messaging and coordination of content across stakeholders
• Maintain and refresh intranet content for Parallon audiences, both corporate and enterprise
• Continuously review content on Parallon.com external website for necessary updates and ensure content remains aligned with the intranet site
• Report on content performance across the channels of email, video, social and web
• Assist and participate in the management, coordination and execution of internal communications projects and meetings, including the Parallon annual report project cycle and Patient Correspondence Committee
• Track and follow up on deliverables from contributors at multiple levels of the organization
• Support leadership meetings through logistics planning, agenda and talking points development as needed, and day-of support 

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree is required; a focus in Communications, Journalism, English or related field is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, content development, or related field is preferred
