Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an Emergency Department Transporter/Stocker for our Emergency Department team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!

As a Transporter/Stocker you will:

• Work Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3-12s (Weekends Only) 7:30a-8p 

• Perform delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice, under the supervision of the RN
• Manage equipment in department stocking
• Transporting
• Function within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at SRMC
• Document according to guidelines
• May be asked to perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications you will need for this role:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Certified Nurses’ Assistant or EMT-B certification & BLS Certification required
• One to two years’ experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Demonstrates good organizational skills.
• Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
• Some specified skills may be required by specific departments.
