Introduction
This leader will report to the Ambulatory CHIO and will be the enterprise Product Owner for the Hospital Owned Clinic Solutions (HOCs). The Director will create an inventory of Hospital Owned Clinics across the enterprise, ensure regulatory system compliance, manage the system builds, and schedule upgrades with vendor support and assistance. This Director will manage a wide range of business partnerships and stakeholders including Corporate, Division, Hospital and Clinic leadership, to support and enhance existing functionality, as well as, review and implement new functionality. As the leader of the Expanse Hospital Owned Clinic team, building strong relationships with staff, peers, leadership, business partners, stakeholders and vendors is a key component for success in this position.
***This leader can be based anywhere in the U.S and will need to travel 50% - 75% of the time to our hospitals across the country.***

Job Summary and Qualifications
- Lead HOC Clinical Analyst Team in completing assessments activities with Hospital leadership for all HOC’s
- Produce and manage the list of HOC’s across the enterprise in a digitally accessible location for local and enterprise operators
- Direct management of Vendor contracting, implementation timing, engagement, support and deliverables and escalated as appropriate to the Ambulatory CHIO.
- With the Clinical Analyst team, track and manage all HER system issues and future enhancements for the clinics
- Develop strategies and operational plans to implement and support integrated EHRs within the HOCs
- Ability to assist EHR Vendor with change requests from Physicians and Clinical Staff, for costs, enterprise impact and resources necessary
- Lead resources in managing multiple HOC implementation projects across multiple locations/divisions
- Create consistent verbal and digital communications with HCA Leadership on the status of all HOCs in the process of implementation and throughout any upgrade cycles.
- Lead and participate in resolving conflicts involving staff, vendors, stakeholders and business partners
- Responsible for project budgets, review resource cost and expenses for project Monthly Operating
- Reviews Develop and present Strategic Business Cases to HCA’s Sr. Leadership.
- Assist Clinical stakeholders in building and supporting HOC Enterprise governance Operational Excellence
- Manage resources, prioritizing tasks, providing resources estimates, adjusting to change
- Assess situations, formalize options and provide recommendations • Manage, develop, implement and assess processes that support Clinical operations
- Work with team to review and improve processes and recommend emerging technology solutions
- Set and refine national strategy around Hospital Owned Clinic solutions
- Responsible for operational budget, review staff allocation, department operational expenses, vendor license/maintenance fees for Monthly Operating Reviews and annual budget exercise
- Manage Administrative tasks/Staff Development
- Lead, organize, manage and develop a team of clinical analysts and subject matter experts
- Personal Leadership Development and succession planning
- Provide Leadership and continuous improvement of staff
- Management of resource allocations, ops to project ratio
- Staff Meetings and 1:1 engagement with staff Conduct Quarterly Performance Review
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree required
- Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement.
- 5 years direct clinical care required, RN, NP, PA Preferred
- 10 years of relevant work experience required
- Management work experience required
- Previous experience with implementation of an electronic health record in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Prior experience in a project management role with demonstrated leadership skills leading other people on a team to achieve success in the implementation of system applications preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment
- Able to demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presenting skills
- This job requires >50% and up to 75% travel
