Job Summary and Qualifications
- Demonstrates proficiency in operating and troubleshooting equipment used in the EKG lab. 2. Pre patients and apply holter monitors.3. Restocks work area with necessary supplies. Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly to promote patient safety. 4. Assists with compiling bi-weekly and monthly data.5. Respond to stat orders as received.6. Demonstrates proficiency in performing routine EKGs, Signal Averaged EKGs, Rhythm Strips, and EKGs with or without the magnet.7. Provides coverage for weekends and holidays.8. Executes departmental procedure for clerical processing of EKGs. 9. Other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
Six months experience in patient care in a hospital
Six months experience performing EKGs
High School Diploma or Equivalent
