Job Summary:
HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is hiring a Pediatric Surgeon to join our exceptional team in Fort Pierce, FL.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certification in pediatric surgery
- Active FL medical license or ability to obtain
- Join existing pediatric surgeon to replace retiring partner
- Lawnwood Hospital is the only hospital offering pediatric surgery in the four-county area
- Provide pediatric surgery call coverage for the hospital with:
- 20 bed Level II & Level III NICU
- 6-bed PICU with full-time pediatric intensivist coverage
- 16 pediatric beds with pediatric hospitalist
- 100 to 120 in-house deliveries a month
- 20,000 pediatric ED visits a year with 11 am to 11 pm pediatric emergency coverage
- Level II trauma center with trauma coverage by adult trauma team
