HCI is a leading multi-unit management company based in Manhattan, Kansas.  HCI's largest brand is Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers franchises with 30 locations throughout the Midwest, Texas and East Coast. HCI is also growing “Woof’s Play & Stay”, an upscale pet hospitality concept with nine locations in Kansas and Missouri. HCI manages three locally owned and operated restaurants in Manhattan and Junction City and offers full-service catering to the central Kansas area.  In 2021 HCI added Booth Creek Wagyu, Meatworks of Kansas processing plant in Riley, KS and Booth Creek Wagyu Retail store in Manhattan.

Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing team, providing support and gaining experience in advertising, branding, marketing planning, communications, and project management. They will help with coordination of marketing and events, designing marketing materials and communicating with internal stakeholders.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate multiple marketing projects from start to completion.
• Design and write content for marketing materials and collateral, including digital, social, email, print, in-store, and radio.
• Create engaging content for multiple social media accounts.
• Coordinate mobile-first updates to enhance multiple websites within the organization.  
• Execute email campaigns to drive up-sells and repeat client business.
• Monitor and respond to guest comments and reviews.
• Participate in monthly marketing meetings with stakeholders.
• Support field with distribution of marketing materials and promotional items for events on an as needed basis.
• Conducts market research based on specific store needs and goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field required.
• 1 year of experience in a related field required.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and within a group.
• Curiosity and inquisitiveness a must.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Intermediate to proficient experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or related design programs preferred.
• Photography and/or web design experience a plus.
