HCP Talent is collaborating with a Long Term Care/Rehabilitation facility (280 beds) in Arverne, NY 11692 that is seeking a Director of Education and staff development/infection preventionist for a full-time day shift M-F position***Free Parking***
DOE/IFC Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Infection Control throughout the facility
  • Provision of educational and development training services to enhance specialized patient care within established clinical protocols.
  • Collaboration with patient care staff and unit management in the planning, implementation, and delivery of educational curricula.
  • Initiation of clinical skills development programs within the parameters of established clinical and preceptorship models

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Valid RN license in New York State
  • 1 years Long-term care experience required
  • 3 years nursing experience required
  • Infection control knowledge and previous educator experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
