Job Posting for Director of Nursing at HCP Talent
HCP Talent is collaborating with a Long-Term Care/Rehabilitation Facility in Oyster Bay that is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for a full-time Monday-Friday day shift position.
DON Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises all nursing staff in the facility
- Development and implementation of nursing policy and procedure
- Overseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff
- Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain current
- Overseeing nursing employee conduct
- Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility
- Assessing the health needs of each resident

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid NYS RN License
- 4 year Experience as a DON
- Familiar with state & federal regulations.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.
- Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with residents, families, and other employees at all levels.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $200,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
