Infant Toddler Floating Teacher
The Quality Support Teacher works cooperatively with the Teacher and Teacher Assistant to plan and implement the daily education program for the children. While in ratio with children, and under the reflective supervision of the Teacher, the Quality Support Teacher will support the Teacher and Teacher Assistant in ensuring that all classroom activities and the environment are developmentally appropriate and meet the individual needs of children as mandated by federal, state and local standards and that they reflect the Agency's philosophy and curriculum.
Education Requirements
- EEC Lead Teacher certification for Infant and Toddler OR
- Enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate or baccalaureate degree or are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within 2 years of the time of hire.
Qualities and Skills
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner.
- Ability and willingness to work as a team member.
- Ability to maintain and adhere to boundary guidelines.
- Knowledge of child developmental milestones from 0-5 years.
- Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 119, Section 51A you are a mandated reporter and held to the statutory reporting requirements.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Starting Pay: $19.43 per hour
