Our Software Engineering team is growing and currently looking for a Sr Software Engineer - .NET. This key role will work with our Health Benefits business stakeholders and IT associates. In this role you’ll design, develop, document, test, and debug both new and existing software applications (Cloud and on-prem). Responsibilities Responsibilities: Serves as a technical expert on development projects. Participates in upfront analysis and reviews software requirements to lay out an overall application architecture and project solution. Collaborates with an Agile project team to deliver software releases in regular sprints. Coordinates with Product Managers and testers on resolution of identified defects. Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design, including object and data modeling and database design. Participates in Agile Scrum/Kanban-based projects on the development team. Supports, maintains, and documents software functionality. Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation. Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revises programs as needed. Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements. Consults with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs. Participates, understands and solves business problems and provide alternative solutions. Incorporates user feedback into the application/product design. Qualifications: Strong intellectual curiosity and problem solving abilities Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field 5 years of .NET development experience, using .NET Framework 4.6 , .NET Core or .NET 6. 5 years of SQL development experience Experience in Agile environments using Kanban boards and with knowledge of the interactions between Product Managers, Scrum Masters and Engineering teams Exposure to API development and deployment to App Services in Azure Experience in integrating with other packaged applications or SaaS applications using RESTful APIs. Experience in continuous integration and DevOps Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills; Flexible team player; able to work effectively within a team and more broadly with people from a variety of backgrounds and areas across the organization.
