Minimum Salary Range
Job Summary
This position is responsible for analyzing and monitoring sales and retention data and trends, leading strategic planning efforts, and monitoring competitive threats and market trends. As an integral member of sales and account management team, this position will also be responsible for representing group markets priorities in key HCSC strategic initiatives, providing support with market positioning and proposal development and responses, and sharing best practices and resources to empower sales and account management. Ability and willingness to travel including overnight stays.
Required Job Qualifications:
General Agent State Insurance License or secure a General Agent State Insurance License within 90 days, as necessary.
4 years of experience in consulting, strategic planning, proposal development, sales or account management or marketing strategy/communications in a group health insurance environment.
Thorough knowledge of group health care managed products processes and trends.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to consult with external brokers and consultants, interface with internal and external parties to resolve issues, facilitate meetings and presentations, build and implement strategies and processes, and negotiate.
Leadership and mentoring skills.
Ability to address customer needs, make sound decisions, and build strong internal and external relationships.
Ability to effectively interact with staff/management across multiple departments and levels, including executive leadership.
Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills; interpersonal communication skills; persuasion skills; ability to accept direction and feedback.
Analytical skills and financial acumen to analyze reports.
PC experience and skills to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects concurrently.
Initiative and persistence, with ability to meet deadlines.
Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Marketing strategy development and implementation experience

Salary : $88,700 - $112,000
