Essential Duties:

  • Proficiency with ERP systems including data creation and ERP execution, knowledge of SAP a plus
  • Responsible for releasing work orders to Production, and kit requests to Inventory
  • Ensures material flow and production activity are aligned
  • Plans sequence of fabrication, paint, assembly and other manufacturing operations for timely execution of production orders
  • Key User for ERP system; Confirm accuracy of pertinent data in the company ERP system
  • Collaborates with stakeholders on lead times, planning items and any related elements
  • Performs root cause analysis activities related to planning
  • Provides delivery lead time estimates to customer service for new quotes as needed
  • Meets with the Operations team as needed to discuss schedule
  • Determines capacity planning/staffing requirements needed to achieve the production requirements and the schedules
  • Reviews processes for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
  • Track production variance to plan, and identify the causes for any deviations
  • Sets up routings, lead-times and material offsets.
  • Sets up, maintains and assigns operations for Production and Project Bills of Material.

Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

  • Associates degree in business or related discipline preferred or equivalent education/relevant experience required.

  • 2 years working with broad/deep scheduling and planning
