Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you will be working in a demanding role as a direct representative of our company performing service repairs, installation, upgrades, and precision alignment of CNC Saw Sharping equipment, PCD & Solid carbide tooling for customers on-site in a professional environment.

· Technical trade or Mechatronics and or previous experience on CNC machinery

· Machine Precision alignment knowledge

· Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, knowledge

· Able to read machine drawings & circuit diagrams

· Computer skills in word, excel and PowerPoint, as well as completing reports and spreadsheets

· PLC controls knowledge and understanding operation of various electrical and electronic devices

· Professional communications skills through email and verbally

· Ability to cross international borders (Passport)

· Ability to work professionally in a demanding environment

· Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

· Must be reliable and able to travel

· Must have a valid Driver’s license

· Must have a clean driving record

· Willing to learn and teach/train (customers and internal personnel) in a professional manner

· Able to work well with others

· Ability to make decisions

· Travel and book travel arrangements

· Travel internationally if needed (Passport required)

· Timely and professional response to customer, supervisor, and coworker calls and emails

· Troubleshooting of Vollmer equipment

· Perform routine maintenance and duties, repairs, and technical advice

· Installing equipment and start up as per install procedure requirements

· Fill out reports, expenses, and time sheets in a timely manner

· Ability to work extended hours depending on customer needs

· Ability to communicate professionally with customers, engineers, and supervisors

· Ability to perform training customers in a professional manner

Education

• Technical trade with training in mechanical, electrical, Hydraulics and Pneumatics or Mechatronics and or previous experience on CNC machinery (Preferred)

Experience

• Mechanical, electrical, Hydraulics and Pneumatics knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)

Travel Requirements

• Up to 70%
