Nurse Practitioner - PRN/Per-Diem, Part-time, or Full-time

The Role

Headlands Research is looking for a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as we run cutting-edge clinical research trials. The ideal candidate is passionate about clinical trials and making a difference and a team player who can collaborate and move at a fast pace.

Type: PRN/Per-Diem, Part-time, or Full-time
Schedule: Clinic hours are Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Provides patient consultations and education in an outpatient setting under the direction of the physician in charge of the clinical trial
• Conducts study-related physical exams and follow-up visits
• Reviews and adheres to assigned research study protocol
• Works with the study-leading physician in evaluation and review of potential study participants’ eligibility
• Maintains proper documentation
• Ensures that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocol and standards in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
• Reviews lab results imaging reports, and other study-specific reports

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant masters program
• Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of Texas
• Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience practicing as a provider, preferrably in internal or family medicine.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
