Position Overview
- Cut out and assembles fiberglass hulls, decks and small parts
- Installs hardware components, bilge system, water, hydraulic and fuel fittings, hoses, tanks and connections
- Performs electrical assembly of consoles, installs and connects electrical wiring and components
- Uses a variety of hand and power/air tools, saws, grinders and other tools as necessary
- Follow specific job instructions, frequently reading and providing verbal and/or written status of part completion
- May include handling and application of sealants, adhesives, and primers, along with proper disposal
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment. Must be able to work in a hot environment
- Wear required PPE that may include gloves, safety glasses, aprons and chemical resistant suits, and safety shoes.
- Moderate lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to work a 10 hour shift standing, bending, climbing and reaching
- Flexibility to work overtime if needed.
- No allergies to fiberglass or chemicals used in this process
- Must be able to use basic hand, power and air tools applicable to the job
- Must be able to work with a team to accomplish departmental goals
- Must follow safety standards and procedures including chemical handling and PPE
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions
- Previous marine experience preferred
- Must be able to adhere to quality and efficiency standard
Salary : $31,900 - $40,400
