With an aging society, obesity and diabetes on the rise, and an uptick in surgical procedures, the number of patients with non-healing wounds that would benefit from expert care is dramatically increasing. The Director, Finance - Core will be an instrumental financial partner in this relationship utilizing comprehensive data analytics to provide business recommendations to drive partner performance improvement. The Director, Finance - Core will be responsible for partnering with the Hospital and Physician Services team to develop effective analytics and reporting to continually monitor operational and financial performance of the clinics business within the company’s vision and mission, enhancing Healogics’ position as the leader in wound care as final outcome. The Director, Finance - Core will have accountability in creating an Inspiring Workplace by building and leading a skilled finance staff and assuring that the functions are fundamentally excellent. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP Partners with the Hospital and Physician organization using analytics and reporting financial ‘best practices’ to continually monitor operational and financial performance of the clinics business within the company’s vision and mission. Partners with the MVP, CFO Hospital and Physician Services to identify early changes in operational performance on the operational strategy of the company and plays an integral role in advising the MVP, CFO on CORE financial and business strategies. Works to Grow the Business through annual and long-range planning efforts as well as future business development/M&A opportunities. Develops, evaluates, and communicates short- and long-term fiscal strategies that align with established organizational goals; such strategies will incorporate the use of budget and data analyses, financial planning, resource assessment, financial modelling, and forecasts. Supports Innovative Customer Solutions by providing fiscal leadership to new products and services. TEAM LEADERSHIP Creates an Inspiring Workplace by building and leading a skilled finance staff and assuring that the functions are fundamentally excellent. Attracts, motivates and retains key talent and assists in developing future financial leaders. Performs other duties as required. Required Education, Experience and Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance required; Master’s Degree in Finance or Business preferred. Min of five (5) to seven (7) years of finance management responsibility with direct responsibility in areas of financial reporting. Experience in high growth, fast paced business with complex business models Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced verbal and written communication skills and experience in board presentations Excellent analytical and organizational skills Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projects Ability to collaborate with a broad range of people across many disciplines Ability to effect change through influence and collaboration Salary for this position generally ranges between $128000-140000 / year. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
