Must live in a commutable distance to Albuquerque, NM office.*** This position is responsible for contacting members to inform and education them on our condition management and case management programs. Taking reports given and conducting data research and Performing Data Entry using Excel spreadsheets. Will be reaching out to Members and providers to manage chronic care and preventative care gaps. Possibility to travel locally, up to 10%-15%. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1 year of college and 3 years experience with automated systems OR 4 years experience with automated systems. 2 year experience with managed care system(s) Experience coordinating member needs, providing assistance to members, and analyzing member needs. Knowledge of medical terminology. Knowledge of managed care claims systems. PC proficiency including Microsoft Office applications. Customer service skills. Verbal and written communications skills including developing written correspondence to members and to other department personnel and coaching skills to educate members on medical issues. Leadership skills to mentor support personnel and assist with departmental workflow. PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: At least 1 year of professional working knowledge of Excel HIGHLY PREFERRED College courses in Public Health Familiarity with Health Promotion We encourage people of all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
