REQUIREMENTS:
- REQUIRED: CURRENT TEXAS RESPIRATORY CARE LICENSE
- Required: Associates in Respiratory Science as a minimum
- Required: Able to perform respiratory modalities and function well in ICU, NICU, and Emergency room settings.
- Required: Must be RRT or eligible as defined by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) within 2 years of taking this position.
- Required: Must have passed the NBRC exam to be registered.
- Required: American Heart Association (AHA) Approved Certifications
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- 1- 2 YEARS' EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Education Required: Associates or better.
Experience Preferred: 1 to 2 Years
Licenses & Certifications Required: (American Heart Association (AHA) Approved Certifications)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- CURRENT TEXAS RESPIRATORY CARE LICENSE
Under supervision of the shift supervisors, plans and implements all therapy, Respiratory medication "outside of scope of practice to administer IV/ACLS medications", and diagnostic modes to all assigned patients. Provides all required documentation and maintains appropriate internal records. Performs supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the shift supervisor according to policy.
