POSITION SUMMARY\: To be fully engaged in providing Uncompromised Safety, Superior Quality, Memorable Patient/Customer Experiences, and Financial Stewardship by\:Servicing the needs of the members through orientations, education, instruction, and evaluation in the area of health and fitness.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES\:
Quality/No Harm\:
Musthold current American Heart Association’s Heartsaver CPR & AED programcard prior to start date and maintain.
Must be able to assist in Medical Emergencies.
Must understand all codes and what to do in an emergency situation.
Customer Experience\:
Must beable to enter information into the computer accurately. Must have basic computer skills.
Must be able to complete contracts in a 15-minute period.
Must be able to accommodate the needs of up to 150 members an hour.
Must be able to handle telephone inquiresin an efficient and clear manner.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsible for setting appointments for\:*Racquetball *Spinning *Massage *Personal Training* Orientations *Fitness evaluations *Dietary consultations.
Maintaining good flow at the front desk.
Maintaining laundry and making sure towels are stocked.
Locker room checks, picking up towels and general cleaning.
Checking all members and guests into the facility assuring that they are current members or guests and up to date on membership dues.
Attends regular staff meetings or signs off on meeting notes.
Inputs ideas to enrich member experience.
Maintains a positive attitude.
Is a team player and maintains a good relationship with their peers.
Works their assigned station.
Must be able to accommodate the needs of up to 150 members an hour.
Must be customer service oriented.
Must have strong organizational skills, communication skills.
Must be able to handle telephone inquires in an efficient and clear manner.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
Responsible for the following.
Greeting our members and visitors as they enter the facility before they reach the front desk and acknowledge them as they leave the facility.
Conducting tours of the facility and answers all questions about our services.
Answering the phone and routing all calls to the proper destinations.
Know where to find any answer to questions from members and put them in contact with the correct person.
Stewardship\:
Must be able to enter information into the computer accurately.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be able to complete contracts in a 15-minute period.
Must be able to correctly enter transactions into the cash register on a daily basis.
Completingcontracts for new members and upgrades and downgrades for our present members.
Correctly managing all payments.
Enter all information under the dash 1.
Responsible for balancing the cash drawer daily. Stays within allotted FTE’s-Not clocking in prior to 6 minutes before their regularly scheduled shift. Cannot go over 40 hours in one pay week.
Must work a minimum of 36 hrs FT or 20 hrs PT.
Breaks\: Meal breaks are given to associates that work more than 5.5 hours. Associates must clock out and in for theirbreak. Must be clocked out for a minimum of 28 minutes unless instructed by management to clock in sooner. Any associate that takes a short break will face disciplinary actions.
Relaxation breaks are optional and not required by law to give for associates that work a minimum of 4 hours. They must get permission from the Lead and or Supervisor and are only permitted if the work load is slow and does not affect customer care or safety. 10 minutes only.
Qualification:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED\:
Must have completed High School or equivalent.
Must hold current American Heart Association’s Heartsaver CPR & AED programcard prior to start date and maintain.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS\:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift thirty pounds.
MENTAL DEMANDS\:
Must be able to function in a high paced high stress environment.
Must be able to handle multiple tasking.
Must be able to deal with upset members with good customer service skills.
