Facility Attendant - Bethel, AK Part-time, 10 hours/week HealthFitness is looking for a Facility Attendant to join the team at Yukon Kuskokwim Fitness Center in Bethel, AK. In this position, you will provide daily laundering of towels/exercise bags, maintain locker rooms, exercise equipment and office area cleanliness/upkeep and some front desk work. What you'll be doing Ensures facility, equipment and locker rooms are clean and stocked at all times. Ensures personal and facility appearance meet standards. Maintains documentation of tasks and activities and inventory of stocked items. Verifies equipment is operating properly and immediately reports any potentially unsafe conditions. May assist maintenance with repairs as skills permit. Other projects/duties as assigned. What you'll need Must be at least 16 years old. Must be able to follow basic instructions. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail required. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands and complete work assignments. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Ability to perform basic math calculations. Ability to handle the physical demands of the position; will regularly use hands to finger, handle and/or feel; will need to talk and hear; will frequently be required to reach with hands and arms; the employee will stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and spend very little time sitting; a great deal of stamina and strength is required to perform physical work to lift or push, objects, boxes and bins. Vision abilities include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
