Position: Ultrasound Technician / Sonographer (Cardiac / Vein)

Location: Bullhead City, AZ

Schedule: Full-Time (Mon-Fri 0800 - 1700)

Compensation: $45/hr

Job Summary:

The Cardiac/Vein Ultrasound Technician or Sonographer performs high-quality diagnostic, non-invasive cardiac and vascular examinations. The professional aids in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions and venous diseases by capturing images using ultrasound equipment. This role will require a high degree of technical knowledge, as well as strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction.

Duties:

1. Perform diagnostic procedures producing high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and vascular system, meeting industry standards and the institution’s protocols.

2. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.

3. Conduct tests with efficient use of resources, optimizing the balance between quality and speed.

4. Provide preliminary findings to physicians based on images captured.

5. Attentively monitor patients’ status and condition throughout the process, ensuring their safety and comfort.

6. Maintain patient records and add medical notes about performed procedures.

7. Assist physicians during invasive procedures requiring ultrasound guidance.

8. Stay updated with advancements in field and evolve with ever changing healthcare landscape.

9. Provide patient education related to medical ultrasound.

10. Participate in quality improvement activities.

11. Practice good patient management and patient care techniques, with a focus on patient privacy.

12. Perform calibration of the ultrasound equipment to ensure clear images are obtained.

Other Requirements:

• Candidates must have RCS / RVT cert or experience in the following studies:
• Echo
• Carotid
• AAA
• Arterial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 per hour
