Electronic Health Record (EHR) System Technician
Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Health Partners of Western Ohio is looking for an electronic health record (EHR) system technician for our Administration Building in Lima, Ohio. The EHR System technician serves as an EHR Super User offering basic technical support to all EHR users across the organization. The EHR System Technician will assist in the development of clinical templates, system trainings, monitoring usage and reporting on data from the EHR system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Promotes effective and appropriate use of integrated health services at HPWO as part of a “Patient Centered Medical Home” (PCMH) model of care.
- Offers basic technical support to all EHR users across the organization.
- Works with and assists HPWO IT team as needed.
- Assists with EHR systems improvements and trainings
- Assists in the development of clinical templates, monitoring usage, and reporting on data from the EHR system as requested.
- Assists with quality improvement activities as requested.
- Responds to crisis situations according to policy.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills – written and verbal.
- Establishes and maintains professional working relationship with other members of the health care team.
- Participates in continuing education and professional growth opportunities.
- Adheres to the standards and policies of the Organizational Privacy/Security and Compliance Programs, including the duty to comply with applicable laws and regulations (OSHA, OIG, guidelines, and other State and Federal laws). This also includes reporting to the Board of Directors, Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer, supervisor or suggestion box, any suspected unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful acts or practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One to three years full-time experience in using an EHR system.
- Experience with the Greenway Intergy EHR system is preferred.
- Computer experience required including use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong analytic and organizing skills.
- Strong customer service skills to support EHR users
- Ability to work with a culturally diverse group of people.
- Ability to work as a team member.
