Bilingual English and Spanish Prior Auth/ Biller for Medical Supply Office

We are Seeking a experienced Intake, processor that will submit Prior Authorizations to Health Insurance Companies regarding DME Durable Medical Equipment, this position requires someone who has experience with ICD 10 Coding and HCPCS/CPT coding. Being Bilingual In English and Spanish is a plus however not mandatory.

Some of the Responsibilities:
- Review and verify patient information through platforms EPACES/Noridian and other Insurance platforms to determine insurance coverage, and medical records to ensure accurate billing
- Assign appropriate medical codes ( ICD-10 codes) to diagnoses and procedures
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically
- Follow up on any denials of the Prior Authorizations that you are submitting
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding their coverage and what they have been approved/denied for.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations(will sign you up for a HIPAA certified course that we pay for)
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding systems and billing regulations
- Collaborate with the medical office team to ensure efficient billing processes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT coding, HCPCS coding), and medical billing procedures
- Familiarity with medical collection practices and insurance claim submission processes
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and billing software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Note: All positions at our company are paid positions. MUST BE EXPERIENCED WITH SIMILAR ROLE, WILL TRAIN ON OUR EMR SYSTEMS WE USE HOWEVER YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SUBMITTING PRIOR AUTHORIZATIONS AND INSURANCE ELIGIBILITY CHECK.
