The Role

The Digital Health Advocate (DHA) position at HRS is an integral part of the business’ broader commercial team. Members of the DHA team are responsible for speaking in support of and promoting interest in the use of digital technology to manage illness and promote wellness.

DHA team members manage two key responsibilities at HRS. The primary purpose of the team is to generate net-new business opportunities for the Regional and Enterprise sales teams. Secondarily, each DHA serves as the primary point of contact for assigned Customer Care accounts working to build trust, credibility, and long-term partnerships with existing customers.

The team delivers on lead generation responsibilities through two approaches to lead engagement. Inbound lead nurturing and outbound lead generation. Health Recovery Solutions is looking to add an outbound Digital Health advocate to our high-performing team.

General Responsibilities (Daily, Weekly, Monthly):

  • Be an HRS ambassador, able to effectively describe HRS’ vision and mission in a compelling manner.
  • Work collaboratively with prospects and clients to establish successful telehealth and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs across the country.
  • Learn about how remote care in home is transforming care delivery. Develop expertise on industry trends, topics, and issues confronting care teams within HRS’ four, primary sites of care.

Lead Generation Responsibilities (Daily, Weekly, Monthly):

  • Ensures successful and consistent follow through of outbound prospecting and lead engagement processes, meeting and exceeding lead generating activity levels and individual KPI’s.
  • Ensures critical lead qualification information is gathered and documented in Salesforce, and a pipeline of qualified leads are maintained in line with team goals and individual KPI’s.
  • Maintains a high level of daily sales activity in line with established goals. This role will require a level of outreach activity in the range of 100-200* activities per day.
  • Engages with, responds to, and qualifies/disqualifies self-sourced and marketing-sourced leads using the HRS qualifying process to better understand the prospect’s budget, authority, need, and timing (BANT) among other key qualifying pieces of information.
  • Secures and sets qualified discovery conversations and demos for the sales team, creating sales qualified opportunities when appropriate.


Customer Care Responsibilities (Daily, Weekly, Monthly):

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer care accounts, working to build trust, credibility, and long-term partnerships with existing customers.
  • Advocate for client needs within HRS and ensure a high level of customer service is maintained.
  • Know when, where, and how to escalate within HRS and ease the impact of issues or concerns arising from assigned customer care accounts.
  • Focus on and understand each customer’s goals, ambitions, and growth needs. Align HRS’ internal customer resources to support these goals, ambitions, and needs when necessary.
  • Partner with Sales Executives throughout the customer lifecycle driving positive net retention within assigned accounts. This includes supporting client growth and renewal plans when appropriate.

Core Competencies:

  • Willingness to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain the HRS value proposition, answer questions, ask qualifying questions, etc.
  • Possess a deep understanding of how to connect, communicate, and gain interest with self-sourced or marketing-sourced prospects via written and oral communication (e.g. email, LinkedIn, phone outreach, etc.)
  • Ability to conduct discovery and qualification conversations over the phone, building trust and credibility with both customers and prospects while uncovering the critical information needed to create opportunities for the sales team: Key players names, titles, contact information, business needs/pain, business requirements, etc.
  • Demonstrates expertise on all HRS service offerings and applications with the ability to communicate how HRS’ solutions will solve the prospect’s problem(s) to get the sales process underway.
  • Leverages HRS’ marketing resources to create continued “buzz” among prospects. This includes sharing relevant content and relying on industry expertise to offer relevant and helpful suggestions based on the prospect’s business need.
  • Ability to work in a CRM environment with a high level of accuracy when capturing critical information (e.g., contact information, qualifying criteria, call notes, etc.)

Process Management & Execution:

  • Learn, follow, and monitor current processes to carry out responsibilities. Provide recommendations for improvements based on industry experience and client feedback
  • Own and proactively drive improvement of the sales lead generation and management processes to ensure optimization Including definition standardization and simplification of workflows and procedures.
  • Effectively collaborate with cross functional partners (e.g. Marketing, Revenue Operations, Sales Executives, etc.) to make the lead generation process more efficient and effective.


Skill Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills including active listening, oral, and written communication.
  • Technologically savvy:
    • Proficient in core MS Office product suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Proficient in web conferencing tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
    • Intermediate skills with: Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 1 year working in a customer facing, commercial (BDR, SDR, Outbound Sales, Client Success, etc.) role (preferred)
