A Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience in data quality control, data quality improvement and data collection; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Experience with New York State's HIV health care delivery system including the delivery of services to uninsured and underinsured persons. Experience performing quality assurance activities for an HIV-related program. Experience using Microsoft software (e.g., Word, Excel). Experience supervising staff in a health care, public health, health/human service and/or health regulatory program or community-based organization.
Responsibilities :
The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute has established the Uninsured Care Programs, of which have some of the most comprehensive drug and service coverage in the country. The Programs provide access to medical services and medications for all New York State residents with or at risk of acquiring HIV/AIDS. The Programs bridge the gap between Medicaid coverage and private insurance and serve as a transition to Medicaid by providing interim assistance to individuals eligible for but not yet enrolled in Medicaid or assistance in meeting spenddown requirements.
