Cardiovascular Services Manager opportunity in the Austin area of Texas

Responsibilities:
  • You will manage and direct the operations and delivery of patient care within budgetary, staffing and regulatory guidelines, using evidence based practice.
  • You will identify clinical operational needs; manage appropriate level of equipment and supplies and monitor equipment maintenance. Assess the environment and make recommendations to ensure optimal patient comfort, safety and compliance with various regulatory bodies and clinical policies and procedures.
  • You will collaborate in the development, implementation and expansion of learning opportunities and skill development for all staff.
  • You will analyze, develop and maintain an effective and efficient multidisciplinary care delivery system that reflects patient and family needs across the continuum to achieve desired outcomes.
  • You will promote education for patients, patient families and the community; participate in direct patient care activities as a targeted strategy for role modeling or information gathering.
  • You will participate in planning, preparing, and prioritizing of budgets for assigned areas of responsibility. Monitor compliance, investigate variances and provide plans for remediation.

Requirements:
  •  Associate’s Degree-Major: Nursing, Radiological Technology or Cardiovascular Technology 
  • Nursing Diploma; Graduate of CVT program; or graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by the JRCERT or graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology or a military training program of equivalent standards
  •  Registered Nurse, or State Registered Radiologic Technician, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
  •  3 years of experience within the cardiovascular field
  • 2 years of progressive leadership experience 
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
