Cath Lab Manager opportunity  located southwest of Kansas City, Kansas.

SHIFT:   Full time - No Weekends

Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Manager
  • Clinical, financial, and environmental and employee related functions of the service area.
  • Conducts himself or herself as a professional role model, being a clinical resource for and acting as a liaison with the medical staff.
  • Keeping department operations within budgetary boundaries, compliance with all regulatory requirements and human resource issues. 
  • Integrates their department’s services with the hospital’s primary functions. 
  • Coordinates and integrates services within the department(s) and with other departments.
  • Develops, implements and evaluates policies and procedures that define scope of service and guide and support the provisions of services.
  • Recommends a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care/service and assures the qualifications and competence of those staff members meet the needs of patient care and non-patient care services. 
  • Hires and evaluates new staff, provides for orientation, in-service training, continuing education and annual evaluation of all personnel in their department(s). 
  • Oversees any disciplinary processes and termination of employees in their department(s) in collaboration with Director.

Requirements of the Cath Lab Manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree required if RN
    Will consider candidates with RCIS in lieu of a RN
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state KS or a Multistate License
  • Minimum of 3 years Cath Lab Experience; must have a minimum of one year of Cath Lab leadership experience as well as acute care experience, 
  • BLS/ACLS, PALS within 1 year of hire
     
 
The facility has a  hospital campus features four medical office buildings, two pharmacies and the offices of more than 100 physicians. Their services include Emergency Services, a Regional Trauma Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center, The Women’s Center with Level IIIB NICU, the Human Motion Institute, advanced diagnostic imaging, a Diabetes Center and many other specialty care services.
