Great opportunity for an Interventional Radiographer in the central area of Illinois.
Full time, days, 7:00am - 5:30pm, weekend rotation and call required
Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiographer:
Provide technological support of the Interventional Radiology suite in the performance of various diagnostic and therapeutic invasive procedures.
Requirements of the Interventional Radiographer:
Registered radiographer (ARRT-R) in good standing.
A.R.R.T. certification in either Vascular-Interventional (VI) Radiography or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) required.
Active license required in radiography from the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety.
Minimum of 2 years experience in radiography and / or minimum 1 year experience in IR and / or minimum 2 years experience in surgery or diagnostic fluoroscopy.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Operational background and / or experience with microcomputers.
Maintain CPR Certification.
This facility has been a teaching hospital affiliated with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine for the purpose of providing clinical training for residents.
