What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soil Sorter (3rd Shift) position at Healthcare Linen Services Group?
Shift Hours: 12am-8:30am
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the correct sorting of linen that has been placed on a moving conveyor belt in front of them. Picks up soil linen and places it in the corresponding sling/cart. Follows standard operating procedures. Must meet quality and production standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Be on time

· Be able to work well with a diverse workforce
· Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor
· Follow all company policies and procedures
· Possess and maintain a positive attitude
· Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies
· Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise
· Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Cross-train in other positions per production needs
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day
· Sufficient manual dexterity to sort linen
· Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting and pulling
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.40 per hour
