Social Services Director

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent or experienced psychology or social work graduate with a Master's degree.

We are seeking a Social Services Director to whom the resident primarily relates for the coordination of services, programs, oversight of data collection and review of resident performance. Our ideal candidate must have a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or another human services / social services discipline.

Qualifications Include:

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related social services / human Services field such as sociology or special education.
• One year working with the adult mentally ill population; preferred but not required.
• Prefer experience with caseloads, crisis intervention, documentation, care planning with involving families in the process, knowledge of the MDS, discharge planning, facilitating skills groups and psycho-social groups and problem solving.
• Good assessment skills, interpersonal skills, advocacy skills, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of MDS 3.0 along with basic computer skills.
• Charting experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Must be able to handle confidential data with professional discretion.
• Position is 5 days/weeks 8 hours per day.
