We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Physical Therapist to join our practice in Glen Rock, NJ. We are seeking a Physical Therapist who is compassionate, a team player, fantastic clinician, who is passionate about helping others reach for AND achieve their goals. We are flexible in our need and can accommodate a PT looking for either part time or full-time work.
We have an elite, dedicated and well-respected team of multidisciplinary professionals and, using a wide variety of techniques and services, we work as a team to ensure that we give our patients the highest level of care, alleviating, and eliminating their pain. Our team consists of Chiropractors, Ortho Surgeons, Pain Management/PM&R physicians, NP’s, PT’s, PTA’s, Acupuncturists, and massage therapists. We work in conjunction with each other and the patients, to find the best treatment program for each individual patient. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to work with a knowledgeable integrated team, with professional advancement and growth. Duties:
- Patient Consultation-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
- Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare team regarding diagnosis as needed
- Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
- Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living
- Compose discharge notes for patients, refer to appropriate outside sources, as necessary
- Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises
- Documentation and Charting (timely and accurate notes)
- Work cooperatively with the integrated team and PTA’s and other support staff for comprehensive patient care
- Patient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- reassessments
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Active PT license in NJ
- Full time or Part time (flexible)
- Mon - Friday 11 to 7 or Tues/Thurs 11 to 7 or Tues/Thur. and Sat 9-1
- $60-$65/hr
- PTO/Vacation – 2 weeks
