4-day work week! Mon- Thursday

We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapy Aide/Assistant to join our practice full time in North Bergen, NJ. Ideally, the incoming Physical Therapy Aide/Assistant is a driven multitasker, has great verbal and written communication skills, wants to grow with an expanding PT-owned company focusing on patient care, teamwork and company growth.  The Physical Therapy Aide/Assistant should be a proficient at orthopedic rehab with hands on skills. We are conveniently located just 5 miles north of Hoboken and just outside NYC.

 Duties:

• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, modern modalities, and activities of daily living based on recommendations by the PT
• Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises
• Assist with Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit
• Collaboration with the PTs, aides and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
• Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
• Contribute to the development and promotion of the practice
• Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude

Requirements:

• Completion of a Physical Therapy Aide/Assistant Program
• PTA License in NJ

Schedule:

• Full time
• 4-day work week! Mon- Thursday - Fridays off (Schedule can be flexible to ideal candidate)

Compensation:

• $35/hour incentives- up to $80k (DOE)
