The Cascade Park Gardens, Memory Care Program, is seeking a customer-focused individual to serve as Staffing Care Coordinator. Some of the Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of Resident Services-related activities to ensure that we provide our residents with consistent, compassionate, competent and high quality care.
- Schedule and coordinate all resident care staff.
- Train and monitor the performance of resident services staff.
- Facilitate the delivery of accurate, quality, compassionate care in accordance with State regulatory requirements.
- Provide positive leadership and support to staff.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- A high school graduate or have a GED or vocational completion in healthcare field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Long Term Care Facility
- Be a licensed NAC, HCA or have exempt status and have worked consistently in a LTC facility for over 2-3 years
- Have a desire to work with the elderly in an environment that upholds their privacy, dignity, choice, independence, and individuality
- Must possess a strong background in the psychosocial aspects of long term care; a working knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements applicable to a state licensed Assisted Living facility, especially concerning quality of care and resident retention
- Possess appropriate communication skills to foster and maintain positive relations with residents, families, physicians, state officials, Company staff, and outside healthcare agencies
- Able and willing to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the job
- Good character and a continuing reputation of personal integrity
- Desire to deliver exceptional customer service that PRODUCE SMILES from our residents
- Ability to recognize and address resident and staff issues, promptly and appropriately
