Medical Assistant/MA
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Assistant/MA to fill an opening in Sarasota, FL!
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant/MA:
- Will be taking temperature, oximetry readings/normal blood oxygen saturation level, vitals, weight, drawing blood, performing blood pressure checks, and rooming patients. Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. Looking for a quick learner who can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Shift: Monday – Friday; 8:00am to 5:30pm
Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant/MA:
- Must have HS Diploma or GED uploaded into files BEFORE starting
- 1 yrs. experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist in a busy medical office (40 patients daily)
- Experience with phlebotomy, at least 15 sticks per day
- Experience with taking temperature, vitals, weight, performing blood pressure checks, rooming patients, and taking patient medical history
- Experience with manual blood pressure (must have)
- Must have excellent computer skills

Pay Details: $18 - $20/HR based on relevant experience
