Daily Responsibilities of a Medical Assistant:
- Works as part of a team to see a patient volume of an average of up to 40 patients per day
- Performs basic scribing responsibilities
- Takes and documents patient HPI
- Updates all patient medical/surgical/family history, medications and allergies
- Preps and assists numerous surgical procedures such as ED&Cs, shave/punch biopsies, ILK, I&D and other
Requirements for this position:
- At least 6 months of experience as an MA
- Experience with vitals, rooming patients, triaging for patient medical history, chart prep
- Experience with scribing (must have)
- Well-spoken/well written with a good personality
Hours for this position:
- Monday through Friday, from 7:30-4:30p
- Sometimes until as late as 5pm with 30-minute breaks
