Job Posting for Director, Purchasing and Trade Relations at Healthcare Support
We have an opening for a Director, Purchasing and Trade Relations with a large Long Term Care Pharmacy in Louisville, KY! The Director, Purchasing and Trade Relations will focus on the evaluation and development of vendor and supplier relationships, administration and compliance of contracts, and implementation of purchasing rebate programs. The Director, Purchasing and Trade Relations will manage all of purchasing and contracting for all 160 Pharmacies Nationwide!
REQUIREMENTS FOR HEALTHCARE CLAIMS DIRECTOR :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 8-10 years of Healthcare, Pharmacy Purchasing, Specialty Pharmacy, or pharmaceutical industry experience with multi-location responsibility
- Must have strong experience in business development, pharmacy program management, and contract management/negotiations
- Knowledge of pharmacy purchasing and inventory management
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
- Driver’s license
HOURS OF THIS POSITION FOR HEALTHCARE CLAIMS DIRECTOR :
- Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm
- Travel: 25% travel obligation – they do attend trade shows, possibly quarterly
SALARY FOR HEALTHCARE CLAIMS DIRECTOR :
- Starting at $120K depending on experience, it can increase 20% bonus structure
BENEFITS FOR HEALTHCARE CLAIMS DIRECTOR :
- Medical, Dental, and Vision, on the first day of the month following 30 days of service.
