UW Medicine Primary Care is recruiting Urgent Care ARNPs / Teaching Associates for an urgent care practice in Seattle.

UW Medicine Primary Care offers a complete spectrum of primary care services and is committed to improving the health of the public.

The providers are actively engaged in teaching and provide care using the medical home model, creating a friendly and stimulating atmosphere for providers, staff and patients.

We prioritize unique and comprehensive care delivery to serve the needs of our patients, including behavioral health, care management, lab and radiology, and a fully integrated electronic medical record.

Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations.

Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.

Other compensation associated with this position may include one-time Monthly Additional Compensation payment and incentive pay based on performance.

Selected ARNP would be appointed as a Teaching Associate with UW School of Medicine. Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms.

Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.

In addition to providing primary care, this role will include some clinical teaching responsibilities. Positions will ideally start Summer and Fall 2023.

Qualifications

Candidates must have earned an ARNP and should be board certified. Candidates will need to possess or obtain a valid Washington State medical license and DEA cert.

Candidates should have at least two years of experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care setting.
