Who: HealtheConnections, a respected national leader in providing health information exchange (HIE) services for 26 counties of NYS.

What: Hiring a new team member to help create and maintain user accounts and information for the thousands of people who use our services, while delivering excellent support.

Why: This Administrative and Customer Support Services role supports one of the largest and most multi-faceted health information exchanges in the country. This team is the "face of the company" for many of our participants. You will be creating and addressing service tickets, creating new accounts and maintaining accurate user data, fielding emails and some phone calls, answering user questions, and ultimately making sure that all the details are organized and in the right place.

If you’ve worked as a Patient Service Representative, Medical Billing Specialist, Medical Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or similar role, you may be a perfect fit!

Competencies & Experience

  • 2-year or higher degree in a communication, business, information technology, or similar field strongly preferred
  • 2 years professional customer service experience required
  • Professional experience in a Medical/Technical organization a strong plus
  • Experience using a CRM system a strong plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Top-notch technical skills, including ability to independently navigate computer systems and applications
  • Proven ability to follow procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and ensure accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
